Cadence

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 25, 2026

1. Who we are

Cadence (the "Service") is provided by Hamza Laghfiri ("we", "us"). By using the Service you are entering into an agreement with Hamza Laghfiri.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be of legal age in your country, or have authority to bind the organisation you use it for.

3. The Service

Cadence is a personal focus planner with daily tasks, goals, habit tracking, insights and an AI coach. Free accounts include a limited number of AI requests per month; Premium includes unlimited AI requests.

4. Your account

Keep your login details confidential and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

  • using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or to send spam;
  • infringing anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
  • interfering with security — including malware, probing, scraping, or bypassing usage limits;
  • reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the Service;
  • using the AI features to create illegal, hateful, harassing or deceptive content, or attempting to jailbreak them.

6. AI features

AI coach responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are general suggestions, not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice. You are responsible for what you enter, how you use the output, and checking it before relying on it. We may filter, refuse or remove content and restrict accounts that misuse the AI features.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write in Cadence. You give us a limited licence to store and process it only to provide the Service. Rights holders can report infringing content to us, and repeated infringement may lead to account termination.

8. Our intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including its software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan.

9. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, taxes, renewals and cancellations are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Premium renews monthly until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from the Premium page and keep access until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.

10. Service level

We work to keep Cadence running well, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may delete your account at any time. When your account ends, your data will be deleted within a reasonable period.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
