Who is responsible

Cadence is operated by Hamza Laghfiri, who is the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect and why

  • Account data (name, email, login credentials) — to create and secure your account. Basis: contract.
  • Planner content (tasks, goals, habits, notes, questionnaire answers, assistant messages) — to provide the Service and generate AI coaching. Basis: contract.
  • Subscription status (plan, renewal dates) — to give you Premium access. Basis: contract.
  • Technical data (IP address, device and browser info, usage logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Support messages — to answer your questions. Basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers who host our app and database, send account emails, and run the AI models behind the coach (your planner content is sent to them only to generate responses).
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling Premium, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, or it's no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, except where we must keep records by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and per-user data isolation.

Cookies and local storage

We only use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember app preferences. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear storage in your browser settings, which will sign you out.
